Meet the Founder
Hello and welcome.
I’m Sarah, founder of Nidra Mind, and a Cognitive Wellness Specialist and Facilitator.
Nidra Mind was created to support individuals and organisations in protecting brain health, reducing stress, enhancing focus, and building lasting emotional and cognitive resilience, particularly in high-responsibility, high-performance environments.
My work bridges brain health, mental wellbeing, and practical self-regulation, offering evidence-informed, non-clinical tools that support sustained performance while protecting long-term cognitive health.
Why Nidra Mind Exists
This work is deeply personal.
Over many years, I have experienced first-hand the impact that sustained stress, emotional overload and cognitive strain can have on both adults and children. As a single mother navigating prolonged high-conflict circumstances, I witnessed my young son experience an emotional breakdown as a result of sustained stress. That moment fundamentally changed how I understood resilience and highlighted the urgent need for accessible tools to support emotional and cognitive wellbeing.
Later, I faced another deeply painful experience losing my father to Alzheimer’s disease and supporting my mother through dementia. Seeing how cognitive decline affects not only individuals but entire families strengthened my commitment to brain health, prevention and early intervention.
Alongside these personal experiences, I have worked within mental health services supporting women with postnatal mental health challenges, helping them recover and build secure, loving bonds with their babies. This work reinforced a core belief that underpins everything I do today: resilience is not something we are simply born with, it is something that can be developed, supported and protected with the right knowledge and tools.
How I Work
I don’t just teach these practices. I live them.
My approach is practical, compassionate and grounded in real life. I design tools and programmes that integrate naturally into busy professional routines and organisational cultures without adding pressure, complexity or unrealistic expectations.
